AOC Alsace « Terroirs »
Personal label. The hill of Avolsheim was named "Terroirs" for some of its characteristics: its orientation South, South-East, similar to the "Horn de Wolxheim", is valuable for its amount of sunshine; its sub-soil is largely composed of limestone and shallow soils. The outcrop of the rock provides a useful and limited yield.
In light of these undeniable advantages, the Domaine André REGIN grows several noble grape varieties from Alsace: Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. André REGIN quickly realized that the combination of a rigorous and selective terroir and of grape varieties of high potential could lead to a quality product. From these lands, André Regin produces his finest selections including two superb vintages bearing his sons ‘names: Thomas and Antoine.
